  Laser Cut and Chemically-Etched Stencils
The Hybrid Stencil (H-FABᴁ) combines Laser-Cut and Chem-Etch technologies in a single stencil. This technology is for applications having a small number of total apertures (6,000 to 12,000).

Advantages:
Steps Stencils offerthe SMT process engineer significant flexibility in acheiving the proper solder paste height and solder paste volume for the overall paste printing process.

1.) Step-Down Stencils:
20 mil pitch QFP: 7 mil thick for Rís and Cís with a step-down to 5 mil for 20 mil pitch QFPs
16 mil pitch QFP, 0201s and/or µBGAís: 5 mil thick stencil with a step-down to 4 mil for the 16 mil pitch QFP, 0201s, and or µBGAs.
2.) Step-Up Stencils:
CBGA or CGBGA: 6 mil for normal components and a step-up to 8 mil for CBGAs. Extra paste height required for this component due to possible coplanarity issues.
Through-Hole Connector: 6 mil for normal components and a step-up to 10 mil for the through-hole connector.
3.) Relief Step-Board Side:
Bar Code Relief. Raised Via Pads and Relief for Paste (Two Print Stencil).

Space Saver Frame:

The master frame is 1 inch thick and has 2 pins to hold the Space Saver Frame in place. The Space Saver Frame is Ω inch thick and has alignment holes fot he 2 Frames can be stored in the slot that holds one regular 29 ё x 29 ё frame.
